Design Process
The design of the residential complex is based on climate responsiveness, social interaction, and sustainability. Central courtyards not only provide natural light and ventilation but also create communal spaces for residents. A clear spatial hierarchy has been implemented, ensuring a smooth transition between public, semi-private, and private areas.
How I used my skills
Large openings and traditional “Shanashil” elements enhance natural airflow, while internal courtyards and terraces establish a strong connection with the outdoor environment. Controlled entrances ensure secure and efficient access, maintaining both privacy and accessibility within the complex.
The Aramesh Eight Residential Complex is designed with a deep understanding of climate, airflow, and spatial relationships, creating a harmonious living environment that integrates local architectural traditions with modern sustainability principles.
At the heart of the project lies a central courtyard, serving as a communal hub that fosters social interaction while enhancing natural ventilation. The inclusion of traditional elements like Shanasheel (overhanging balconies) allows for better shading, airflow regulation, and privacy, reflecting a seamless blend of cultural heritage and contemporary efficiency.
The design prioritizes strategic spatial organization, with carefully planned entrances, terraces, and open spaces that optimize natural light, cross-ventilation, and thermal comfort. Sustainable materials and passive design strategies ensure that the complex is not only aesthetically refined but also environmentally responsible.
This project stands as a model for climate-responsive architecture, proving that modern residential developments can successfully integrate local identity, sustainability, and human-centered design.
The inclusion of a green roof not only enhances the visual appeal but also reflects a commitment to sustainability, reducing the building’s environmental impact and contributing to improved urban ecology. Each element of the design has been meticulously crafted, with Takkhat’s architectural vision bringing the concept to life, and the 3D rendering completed by me capturing every intricate detail to showcase the project’s essence.
This project stands as a testament to how luxury and modernism can converge with environmental responsibility, creating a space that is not only visually stunning but also ecologically mindful.
